High Fashion at Bargain Prices?? Target's Style Reboot + Kam's Current Favorites

Target has always been the go-to place for me for affordable items. When I first got into makeup, I bought all my drugstore products from there when I couldn’t yet afford Sephora. Growing up, my mom would buy my lighter weight coats when they carried the Merona brand. Now, in 2018, Target has given their fashion department a complete makeover, and I’m so here for it! Below I will list 3 of my favorite items from Target’s current lineup. The best part is, they’re all less than $40! IMG_6694_Facetune_19-10-2018-14-07-35

The first item is this gorgeous blazer from Target’s A New Day collection! I had been looking for a good blazer to put in my closet as a great everyday staple for the office and beyond, but I had no luck at the thrift stores (clearly, all the other fashionistas took the good ones already, boo!). I came across this piece for $35 and it’s perfect! I love that it’s grey plaid, which is a great neutral tone for the season. The quality is really good for the price as well, with great tailoring and additional buttons for later repairs. Check it out here.

This next item has been my go-to lately, and you may have seen it all over my Instagram (go follow me if you don’t already!). I absolutely love these mom jeans from the Wild Fable collection! They are super comfortable, and the medium wash denim is perfect for matching with all my fall sweaters and boots. They can be dressed up for the office (as I’ve shown here), or they can be worn on the weekend with a sweater and ankle boots for a quick casual look. I even recently bought my best friend a pair! At $22, you can’t go wrong. I’m looking forward to seeing what else the Wild Fable collection has to offer, as I’ve heard it is Target’s take on fast fashion and will update its offerings regularly. Check them out here.

Finally, can we talk about these mule slide loafer things?? I don’t quite know what to call them, but they are so cute and comfortable! They were a steal at $25, and an excellent dupe for the Gucci Princetown loafers, which run between $900-1100, depending on where they are purchased. These babies toe the line of trendy versus timeless, because why would I spend $900 on bedroom slippers? They are perfect for when you want the slay of a loafer, but the warmth of an Ugg boot. Find them here.

There we have it, lovelies! I’m so glad I can find even more great fashion when I go on my weekly Target run. Have you checked out Target’s latest collections? What are your favorite finds? Let me know! (You can find my earrings here.)
